- 5 / 5By Syd StephanThis is by far the best restaurant on Highway 97 east of Forest Lake. We come here often and have tried many items. They have all been exceptional. Do not be put off by the fact that this restaurant is connected to a golf course. It would succeed as a standalone too. Some of our favorites are the grilled Caesar salad, the monkey's uncle appetizer, the champagne chicken, the beef stroganoff and the Kobe burger. Some nights we like to sit in the bar where it is lively, but if we want a more romantic setting we choose the restaurant. The menu is the same in both areas and the service is excellent.April 10, 2017
